Marks & Spencer Summer 2013 Fashion Show

Marks & Spencer Philippines held a successful Summer 2013 collection fashion show at the Shangri-la Plaza atrium, and I was one of the privileged Nuffnang bloggers to witness the event.

I wore my sheer palazzo pants to the show and a nice summer necklace to make my look in season.

Okay, now let the photos do all the talking. Present in the show are the colors of summer: corals and blues, coral pink, coral red and hues of blue like cobalt blue and cyan. Also present are summer prints, florals and nautical stripes. The collection really spells s-u-m-m-e-r, and I was actually impressed and

Pretty In Prints, My New Summer Obsession

Bold Lines&Prints Swimwear

Me and my friends scheduled a Boracay trip which is going to be happening soon :D and I actually was rooting to wear something like these gorgeous prints for a change. In fact I bought already two pairs, a two-piece printed swimsuit and a one-piece with floral prints. I will post a few pics of my newly acquired swimwear "after" our trip, haha! (pa-suspense?)

How about you, what's your swimsuit love?

One Hot Summer

I recently discovered a fashion community site Polyvore, where you could shop and also, style different looks. And for my first attempt, this is what I came up with. I imagine the current hot climate here in Manila, which is very summery, so I titled it, One Hot Summer. Maybe this is what I'm going to wear on a day trip to Baguio or Tagaytay.

A Fun Way To Wearing Neon

Neons are always fun to wear. I think that's pretty self-explanatory. So this is just a quick post on my attempt on wearing this bright blue neon skirt, bright teal? Whatever.

Animal prints doesn't have to look or make you look fierce. One can blend it to make a more feminine impact. Find one with sheer texture like this dress. Actually, this one's very good for the summer, since it's so light and airy. It's very sexy and conservative at the same time.

Parisian Footwear Summer Style

Did it really come from "Pares Yan"? Haha. I overheard a couple talking about it, or maybe the hubby is just joking around, saying Parisian came from that phrase.

It's been a while since I bought a reliable pair of shoes that I can wear in the office. Too bad my shoes with heels that I bought in the past didn't live up to my expectations, in terms of built and comfort. I walk a lot, so I thought why not get a pair of sandals that I could also wear in the office.

Bought this one:

Facial Mists, A Summer Must-Have

Aside from having sunblock as part of your summer kikay essentials, definitely a facial mist places second, with or without makeup. There are brands that has special ingredients to set the makeup and make it last for hours, but all the same, they refresh and reinvigorate the face.

Today is actually the first day I'm using a facial mist. Haha! Sadly, all this time, it was kind of new to me, If not for the Etude House Playhouse hype that's going to happen soon, that I needed to make some kind of a haul, I'm not going to be able to take advantage of the benefits of a facial mist.

It's lunch time, and I had to accompany a friend to the near-by building, The Medical City that is, because I work at Rockwell Business Center, it was scorching hot obviously and we didn't bring my umbrella. We went back to the office and I felt I'm melting my make-up, the cream foundation I used. I remember I brought this facial mist with me, the Bamboo Water from Etude House Aqua Cure line:

Dainty Nails For This Rainy Summer

It's almost summer in Manila, err, it is already summer, no? At times, it's very, very hot and humid, and on days like today, oh well, it's raining. So much for the confusion, at least we are so blessed of having been able to withstand this radical weather. And for that, I would like to share with you my summer 2012 nail color picks, with my guide how to use nail stickers.
