Other Things To Do in Boracay

Boracay is the most famous beach in the Philippines, and is one of the best in the world for sure. Its pristine powdery white sand is definitely world-class. Honestly, for me, it's like no other.

Move over from banana boating, snorkelling and helmet diving, the usual stuff. I have here a list of new and fun things to do in Boracay :) with photos, of course, to make it more amusing for you. This was from last year, and you may notice I am fatter than usual, as I really have gained weight back then, haha!

1. Stare at the beach. Just stare at it for a few minutes and let yourself be filled with beauty.

2. Make a sand castle (now this is something new! haha!)

Wanderlust

Not so long ago when the travel bug bit me, and now I finally decided to share my travel experiences here on my blog too not just all beauty and fashion. Below are some of my favorite travel quotes and some thoughts about them :) I hope you'll like it.

Just go. But of course, if the circumstances allow it, you know, time and resources (money). No one's stopping you, is there? In my case, aside from my strict aunt, there's no one else. This is the single girl's blessing I must say.

Everything, including travel, must begin with a single step. Otherwise, you go nowhere, you'll be just dragged by things and circumstances you currently find yourself in, to places you don't necessarily want.

I'm not sure, but I think travel is something very natural for us, and something that we need, you know, like drinking water, eating, etc.

What this quote above means for me,  is that in going into places you haven't been before, you broaden your perspectives, you gain knowledge and understanding (having new eyes), you learn about those places and at the same time, you learn to love your own (your country). I say the latter because that is what I realized, having been to South Korea as an example. It made me appreciate more of what we have here in the Philippines :)

Lastly, be open to adventure. If you are like me who likes to plan everything ahead of time, don't be mad if things don't go the way you planned it. Don't be too tough on yourself and allow some margin for error. Enjoy every bit of it. As for me, I enjoy everything, starting from the planning phase, all the way through to completion. It's the journey and not so much the 'destination'.
