In Love With The Face Shop's Hyaluronic Acid Mask
Last December, I could not have resisted taking a picture with the huge poster of Kim Hyun-joong at The Face Shop store at SM Megamall, if not for my super kill-joy then boylet.
Okay. Now it's not because of this star why I'm hooked with this korean brand so far. For the record, I hate
their lip gloss line, it is just too sticky on the lips, too sticky that when a strip of your hair goes in front of your face, the lip gloss seems to magnet it. I struggled all the time, making sure I have no hair whatsover going in front of my face. That said, I didn't consume it to the last drop, I couldn't even use up to half or a third of the tube. Until for some reason it leaked from the bottom of the tube, then I threw it away for good. I would say, it's one korean product that I am not impressed with.
But their face masks are good. Last night, I tried The Face Shop's Hyaluronic Acid Essential Mask sheet. It says on the pack to leave it on the face for 15 to 20 minutes only, but I guess since I was so lazy that night, I think I let it on my face in about 30 minutes or so.
The only thing I didn't do according to the application direction was to use toner to even out the skin before putting on the mask. Still, waking up was so great, I did notice a big improvement on face's skin elasticity, and it is so supple! This is a fact since hyaluronic acid really penetrates the dermis and the epidermis. So your face becomes not only fully hydrated all throughout the night, but it also gives the skin a very youthful appearance. So there, you already know what you are putting on your face.
When I was browsing the internet to check on some good anti-aging products long ago, I learned that one of the ingredients to look for in a good anti-aging product is hyaluronic acid. That is why when I was in The Face Shop last year, I took it right away when I saw this on the shelves. I also bought the Pearl Essential Mask sheet one.
I loved it so much that I couldn't help but blog it right away!
