Arjuna Messenger Bag by Yadu 621

A friend gave me this messenger laptop bag by Yadu 621 called Arjuna bag. Have you heard about it yet?

Yadu 621 is a brand that names its bags with Hindu names and is said to have evolved from its previous brand name Khumbmela (ring a bell?). Yadu 621 are bags made from patches of different textures, different materials bought from ukay-ukay.

A backgrounder on Arjuna

I have a bit of a background in Indian mythology, so I quite know who Arjuna is. He was a warrior and a friend of Krishna. And according to Wikipedia, he was the greatest warrior on earth, a peerless archer, and is said to have been the inspiration behind Hawkeye of Marvel Superheroes (now the latter is only my presumption). One of my brothers was named after him, haha!

Going back to the bag, Yadu 621 has very talented artists I guess. Their bags really shows artistic genuis. And it's well-built, too.

And what I super like about this bag in particular, but actually with most of their bags, is the multiple pockets. You can see a zipper/pocket almost everywhere you look in the bag, a lot in it, that you can really outsmart any pick-pocketers out there. I think bags like this is a necessity nowadays.

And this is a reversible bag, too!

A very casual day at the office
Just saw today on their web page that they're having a sale on their anniversay June 23, 2012. Woot!

Thanks for the info about the Arjuna bag. I think I know about Khumbmela. In fact, my sister has a Khumbmela bag before, but it was a backpack.

How secure is it inside? Thanks for the feature. :)

Good bags and good names.Arjuna is one of the five Pandavas fighting the evil kings of the Kauravas with Lord Krishna's help in the greatest epic of India, Mahabharata.

I like the bag. The style looks so cool. Though I am not familiar with the history the bag itself attracts me. :) Thanks for sharing that the shop is about to have a anniversary sale. I shouldn't miss this one since I like same stuff as what they have :)

not sure but i think i saw some Arjuna bags in a store at Gateway. I could be wrong though. It's worth checking out if only they really make bags out of scraps.

The bag looks like carefully crafted to match with the price of P4,000.00. But that is still too expensive. (For me).
